Subject : Architecture and Planning – Education, Research & Profession: Past Present & Future
Objective : The Objective of this conference was to bring together the diverse streams of professionals and their accumulated knowledge to inform the future of architecture education and research.
Brief : The International Conference was organized by SBPCOADon 17th and 18th of July 2023 in collaboration with Council Of Architecture (COA) as prime academic partner along with Savitribai Phule Pune University & many other Universities, Colleges and Professional bodies as academic partners.
The Keynote speakers are the dignitaries in the Profession. All over the national and international level scholars, academicians and professionals had participated on a huge scale in the conference. Conference received Large number of abstracts and papers. All abstracts and papers were scrutinized and checked for plagiarism. This conference was held for the two days and was divided in different sessions starting with the Inauguration session and followed by Technical presentation sessions by the authors on their research. On second day it started with Keynote lecture followed by expert lectures and Technical presentation sessions. 25 authors presented their Research in front of audience and reviewed by renowned Architects. Three presenters were selected and mentioned as the best papers by the expert Session chairs. The conference ended with a grand success. It was highly appreciated by professionals and academicians from varied disciplines.

Brief about the event: Guest Speaker Dr. Arati Petkaris an academician and dedicated researcher in field of Architecture. She is currently associated with College of Engineering, Pune. Dr. Petkar has published more than 35 papers on diverse topics in architecture. She has an experience in teaching in bachelors and masters architectural course in various colleges and imparting knowledge through faculty development prgrams.
Dr. Arati was invited to SBPCOAD to present work on 'Research In Architecture' to enlighten and encourage all the faculties to conducted more research.
