1. To give students of first year hands-on training of various materials.
2. To explore materials innovatively.
The Workshop II syllabus specifies that the students shall learn to handle various materials such as plastic, clay, timber, bamboo etc. At ‘Avanti Kalagram’, Ar. Bachal facilitates students from various Architecture colleges in conducting live workshops on metal, bamboo and clay pottery. 26 Students from F. Y. B.Arch Section B accompanied by Asst. Prof. Roshni Yetiwar, class coordinator & Asst. Prof. Apoorva Gadgil - Gijare, Faculty coordinator for workshops did 2 workshops 1. Clay wheel pottery 2. Bamboo pen stand making as demanded by the SPPU syllabus.
